Role Summary:

Citi is seeking a skilled risk management professional to fill the role of Senior Vice President, New Activity Risk Manager. Based in Singapore, this position will play a critical role in supporting the bank's strategic objectives.

About the Opportunity:

This leadership role requires a seasoned risk management professional to oversee the new activity risk management function. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of risk management principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective risk management and governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential risks associated with new activities.
  • Design and implement robust risk management frameworks to support business growth while minimizing risks.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of post-execution reviews to ensure alignment with established risk frameworks.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in risk management, preferably within a financial services industry context;
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective risk management strategies;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively;
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams;
  • A sound understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
