Environmental Health and Safety Training Specialist
">We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Training Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging EHS training sessions to employees across various departments.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of industry regulations, company policies, and best practices in EHS. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
The EHS Training Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of EHS laws, standards, and codes of practice, as well as experience in construction and EHS. Certifications such as Registered WSH Officer or Environmental Control Officer would be an asset.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering EHS training programs that meet the needs of diverse employee groups;
- Developing training materials, including presentations, manuals, handouts, and e-learning modules;
- Evaluating training effectiveness through assessments and observations;
- Tracking metrics on training outcomes and making recommendations for improvement;
- Fostering a culture of safety and environmental responsibility through effective communication and engagement strategies.
