Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

Job Description:
The role of Environmental Health and Safety Specialist is crucial to ensuring compliance with international standards and local statutory requirements across the organization's operations.
This position oversees environmental, safety, and hygiene functions, including water, soil, air, and building construction testing activities.
The successful candidate will promote a safe, sustainable, and compliant work environment while maintaining adherence to regulatory frameworks such as ISO 45001.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of EH&S initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and reports on EH&S performance metrics
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:
Professional Certifications: OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent
Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental health and safety roles
