Job Title: Packaging Engineering Professional

About the Role

The Global Packaging Engineering team is seeking a highly skilled professional to develop innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable packaging solutions for STX products. As a key member of this team, you will design and implement complex automated and manual tooling, tray designs, and mechanical testing criteria to meet established requirements.

  • Developing Packaging Solutions:
  • Design and implement tray designs, tooling designs, and mechanical test experience, including familiarity with related ASTM and ISTA test standards.
  • Prioritize projects based on business needs, timelines, and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain accurate documentation of packaging designs, specifications, and test results.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of packaging projects.
  3. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements in packaging engineering.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant disciplines.
  • 3D CAD modeling experience with Solidworks or similar software.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both spoken and written.
  • Cross-functional collaboration and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with thermoform and injection-molded plastic design and implementation.
  • Experience with data analysis of large datasets.
  • Knowledge of global compliance requirements and trends.
