Senior Project Engineer

The Senior Project Engineer plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing complex projects within the Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) sector. They are responsible for leading and managing teams of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality HVAC systems that meet energy efficiency standards.

  • HVAC System Design: Oversee the design, installation, and integration of HVAC systems, including components like ductwork, piping, and equipment selection.
  • Maintenance Strategies: Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure HVAC systems function efficiently and effectively.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct site assessments and inspections to identify potential issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective actions.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the ACMV field, specifically with HVAC systems and projects.
  • Educational Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent qualification.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including equipment selection, load calculations, and ductwork design. Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and regulations related to HVAC system design and installation.
