We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as APAC Application Management Specialist, playing a key role in supporting the successful implementation of Mass Spectrometry applications across the Asia Pacific region.



Job Description

As APAC Application Management Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to support the Core Lab business team in the Asia Pacific region. This includes:

  • Supporting all application-related aspects for the Core Lab business team, covering systems and assays, particularly in Mass Spectrometry.
  • Developing and delivering comprehensive training programs, education seminars, and workshops.
  • Providing high-quality application support, aligned with Global Customer Support (GCS) Training Standards and Quality Assurance Procedures (QAP).
  • Networking with affiliates' application teams through the Asia Pacific network.
  • Assisting in driving business communication across countries in APAC to ensure best practice sharing.


Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • In-depth knowledge of mass spectrometry principles, instrumentation, and data analysis techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with various types of mass spectrometers, including LC-MS and GC-MS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize instrument performance and ensure accurate results.
  • Able to assess laboratory operations, including sample preparation, system tuning, method refinement, routine troubleshooting, data processing, and archiving.
  • Understanding of sample preparation techniques and chromatography methods complementing mass spectrometry analysis.
  • Ability to work with data processing tools and statistical software for data interpretation and presentation.
  • Familiarity with mass spectrometry data analysis software, such as MassLynx, ChemVista, Xcalibur, would be an advantage.
  • Experience in teamwork and project management in a matrix organization, preferably a regional structure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with outstanding presentation and training abilities.
