Job Description

The Role: SWIFT Technical Lead

We are seeking an experienced and skilled SWIFT technical lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, quality management, and banking systems.

The role involves managing and testing banking software systems that use SWIFT messaging, a key system for sending and receiving secure financial messages.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing projects and testing related to SWIFT systems and banking software.

This includes being the main point of contact for SWIFT system updates and enhancements, understanding and working with various messaging formats like SWIFT FIN and ISO20022.

The role also involves using tools and systems like IBM MQ, SFTP, APIs, and JMS to connect systems, supporting and managing software related to SWIFT applications, planning, preparing, and managing testing for system changes and new features.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of SWIFT messaging and transaction screening systems, experience with incident and defect management, and certification in software testing or quality management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects and testing related to SWIFT systems and banking software

  • Understand and work with various messaging formats like SWIFT FIN and ISO20022
