Vessel Performance Lead Analyst

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our Operational Monitoring Center in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect operational data 72–24 hours prior to departure, including vessel tracking and characteristics.
  • Generate optimized routes using advanced weather routing software.
  • Deliver accurate meteorological and oceanographic forecasts and assist captains in voyage planning.
  • Provide remote support to vessels during voyages, particularly in adverse weather conditions.
  • Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption, and adherence to recommended routes.
  • Analyze forecast vs. actual conditions and advise on claims when necessary.
  • Liaise directly with captains, offering real-time support and expert navigation advice.
Requirements:
  • Sea Experience:
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Navigation Officer within the last 4 years, including Passage Planning preparations.
    • A minimum of 4 years' experience as an Officer of the Watch on Transoceanic vessels, including TransAtlantic and TransPacific crossings.
    • Practical use of weather routing softwares or services.
    • Rough seas navigation strong feedback.
    • Experience managing vessels fleet performance.
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in a Weather Routing or Operational Monitoring Center.
    • Background as officer on gas carriers, tankers, container vessels, bulk carriers, or passenger ships.
    • Experience as Chief Mate or Second Officer.
    • Exposure to polar navigation.
    • Certified studies in meteorology or oceanography.
    • Experience providing onsite technical support to maritime companies.
    • Familiarity with operational and seakeeping software.
    • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, and data visualization tools.
