Job Title: Sr. Business Analysis Lead

This leadership role is seeking a highly skilled and experienced business analysis professional to lead the analysis efforts within Agile development teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in leading cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs, and translating them into actionable requirements. Additionally, they will facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit and prioritize requirements, create and maintain product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and provide guidance and mentorship to other business analysts on Agile best practices and methodologies.

The job requires a proven track record of at least 5-6 years' experience in a lead role, strong leadership skills, excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, and experience with Agile tools such as JIRA & Confluence. Certification as a Scrum Product Owner or Certified Scrum Master or equivalent is a must.

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Participating in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Identifying and addressing any impediments or risks that may impact project delivery
  • Continuously monitoring project progress and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Min years' experience required, IT related tertiary education
  • Proven experience of at least 5 -6 years' in a lead role
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA & Confluence
  • Certification as a Scrum Product Owner or Certified Scrum Master or equivalent is a must

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Having business analysis work experience with SG Public Sector
  • Having business analysis work experience with large scale digital transformation projects
