Job Title: Level 2 Technical Support SpecialistSalary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annumJob DescriptionMain Responsibilities- Provide tier 2 technical support to clients, handling escalated requests from the service desk and performing on-site troubleshooting, installations, or implementations.
- Work with the level 1 service desk team to communicate client status updates, notify clients of changes or outages related to their issue, and assist with remote or on-site troubleshooting activities.
- Manage and record all work through the IT service management portal, ensuring tickets are not stale throughout the incident lifecycle process and meet service levels.
- Diploma in computer engineering or equivalent; ITIL v4, CCNA, Microsoft certifications, VMware, or Fortinet certifications are an advantage.
- At least two to three years' experience as a level 2 technical support engineer, desktop support engineer, IT service desk engineer, network engineer, or similar roles.
- Good experience with Windows/Linux OS environments, extensive hands-on experience in managing firewalls, VPNs, networks, or virtual computing infrastructure.
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, ability to provide step-by-step technical help both written and verbally.
