Investment Role Description

This key role oversees the entire investment process, encompassing originating potential deals, structuring and executing them, and contributing to maximizing risk-adjusted investment returns for the business.

The primary areas of responsibility include:

  • Identifying and analyzing investment opportunities
  • Structuring and executing the acquisition of data centre assets in Asia Pacific and Europe
  • Conducting financial modeling to assess acquisitions; Presenting financial analysis to stakeholders
  • Coordinating legal, tax, technical & financial due diligence for assets to be acquired, working with advisers/ consultants
  • Preparing investment papers, presentations, and other materials, as required
  • Reviewing legal documents

This position requires a degree in Business, Real Estate Management, or an equivalent from a reputable university. Essential experience includes investment management, private equity, funds management, and investment banking. A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required, including conducting investment / financial / commercial due diligence. Data centre technical knowledge and experience are beneficial. The ideal candidate should possess strong report writing, verbal, financial modeling, and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork and adaptability are also essential.
