Key Responsibilities:

Site Selection & Land Acquisition

  • Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential sites for data centre development across Asia-Pacific
  • Lead feasibility studies, zoning checks, and due diligence on land parcels and brownfield assets
  • Liaise with brokers, government agencies, and local authorities to secure suitable land

Investment Analysis & Corporate Finance

  • Perform in-depth financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis to support data centre development and acquisition decisions
  • Assist in preparing investment memoranda and board papers for internal approvals
  • Support capital structuring, debt financing, and equity raising initiatives in collaboration with finance and treasury teams

Legal & Commercial Negotiation

  • Work closely with legal counsel on term sheets, land purchase agreements, joint venture agreements, and other legal documentation
  • Participate in negotiations with landowners, partners, and third parties to close transactions efficiently
  • Ensure legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements are met for all investment-related activities
  • Monitor market trends, policy changes, and competitor activity in the data centre and real estate sector
  • Support development of market entry strategies in new geographies
  • Track key performance metrics and support post-investment reviews and asset management initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate, Engineering, or related fields; CFA, CA, or a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage
  • 2-4 years of experience in real estate/TMT investment, corporate finance, infrastructure M&A, or site acquisition — experience in the data centre or industrial sector preferred
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with land acquisition processes and real estate transaction structuring in Southeast Asia or wider APAC region.
  • Effective communicator with strong negotiation skills and ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
