Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This is a key role that requires the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and ensure the overall safety and efficiency of the building's mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Conduct regular inspections of essential building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting
    • Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as replacing filters, inspecting equipment, and reporting irregularities
    • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including forklifts and VNAs, in a timely manner
    • Operate and monitor building management systems (BMS) to confirm that mechanical and electrical systems are functioning correctly
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
    • Keep detailed records of all maintenance work and repairs
    • Perform routine safety audits and emergency response drills
    • Support the overall maintenance of the facility, including tasks like painting, carpentry, and small-scale construction projects
    • Liaise with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations when required
    • Handle emergency maintenance calls promptly
    • Manage an inventory of maintenance tools, parts, and supplies
    • Procure and store essential replacement parts as required
    • Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance activities, equipment logs, and repairs conducted
    • Generate reports detailing the condition of the facility and maintenance activities undertaken

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Min. ITE in Engineering, preferably Electrical/Mechanical
  • Min. 3 years of experience in related field, having experience in lift maintenance is a plus
  • Skilled in operating and troubleshooting electrical systems
  • Comfortable working outdoors which may involve exposure to various weather conditions
  • Periodic maintenance duties at the headquarters may be required
  • Must have Class 3 driving license for vehicle testing
