Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Global Logistics Operations Leader to oversee the management of our logistics operations in Asia-Pacific.

About the Role

  • This is a key leadership position that will be responsible for driving business growth, improving efficiency and reducing costs within the Global Logistics team.
  • You will lead a team of 5 staff members across Australia, India, Japan, Singapore and South Korea.
  • Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth, managing logistics service providers, ensuring compliance requirements are met, and adhering to global process standards.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive Business Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth in Asia-Pacific, including identifying new opportunities and partnerships.
  2. Manage Team: Lead and manage a team of 5 staff members across different locations, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources and skills needed to succeed.
  3. Logistics Service Providers: Manage logistics service providers for warehousing and transportation, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
  4. Compliance Requirements: Ensure all compliance requirements are met, including trade compliance rules applicable to US headquartered Multinational Corporations.
  5. Process Standards: Adhere to global process standards, ensuring consistency and quality in all logistics operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent plus directly relevant experience.
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience leading people, projects and/or programs.
  • Knowledge of Trade Compliance rules applicable to US headquartered Multinational Corporation.
  • Able to work with overseas/international colleagues and business partners.
  • Qualification/Certification and experience in Continuous Improvement Methodology (e.g. LEAN or Six Sigma).
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Proficiency with MS Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
