**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our award-winning team. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food production and presentation.

  • To supervise and participate in the preparation of Garde manger Cuisine for buffet/banquet/room service; maintaining exceptional freshness, quality, and consistency in all food production.
  • Ensure that the Garde manger Cuisine Counter in the buffet line is promptly replenished and maintains a marketable image at all times.
  • Develop and implement new menu items for the Garde manger kitchen, showcasing creativity and innovation.
  • Responsible for controlling and monitoring of food product purchases with minimal wastage.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the working environment and operating equipment.
  • Supervise and manage the section's learning and development, including rostering, performance review, and training needs.

**Requirements:**

  • Possess detailed knowledge in Garde manger cuisine with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar capacity.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative and takes ownership.
