Job Description

The role of Human Resource Development Director is to oversee three key functions: Talent Management and Leadership Development, Learning and Development, and Organisation Development. These functions contribute towards a thriving leadership and organisational culture, supporting the company's mission and vision.

You will lead the Human Resource Development department to spearhead initiatives and review policies that nurture future leaders and create an engaging, growth-oriented culture. You'll work closely with the management team to shape the company's future, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous growth across the diverse workforce.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Talent Management and Leadership Development through creating and implementing engaging leadership programmes that inspire growth and excellence
  • Supporting regular review of succession plans to build the leadership pipeline
  • Forging strong networks across government agencies to expand development opportunities
  • Crafting forward-thinking HR policies and career development options that retain and develop high-performing officers
  • Driving Learning & Development through overseeing innovative learning policies and processes that foster self-directed development and continuous learning
  • Building strategic partnerships with government agencies and external training partners
  • Curating learning resources for professional growth, including impactful onboarding experiences for new hires, aligned with the competency framework
  • Strengthening Organisation Development by monitoring and improving key drivers of employee engagement to support holistic employee well-being at the workplace
  • Analyzing organisational climate surveys to implement effective corporate action plans
  • Orchestrating engaging staff events that enhance the corporate culture, from recreational activities to leadership dialogues
  • Delivering meaningful townhalls and corporate communications
