Life Skills Trainer

As a Life Skills Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality life skills education to students with special needs. This role involves creating customized lessons and immersive learning experiences to equip students with critical skills for daily life, personal safety, and well-being.

The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching or coaching life skills to students with special needs, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills. A bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Customize and deliver lessons to meet each student's unique needs
  • Contribute to programme development and refinement of the Life Skills curriculum
  • Organize life skills learning experiences for students, including residential camps and overseas trips
  • Facilitate real-world learning through experiential activities and community outings
  • Monitor and assess student progress through ongoing assessments and portfolio maintenance
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and community partners to create a supportive learning network
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience teaching or coaching life skills to students with special needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to deliver structured lessons and create engaging activities that build independence
