Virtu's Crypto trading desk is a newly formed global team focused on digital asset and derivative trading. Our traders utilize advanced trading technology to develop and refine strategies for proprietary and client-facing businesses.


Job DescriptionThe team operates as risk managers, ensuring smooth operation of our trading systems and strategies, providing essential operational support and maintaining high-performance algorithmic trading strategies.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and optimize strategy performance
  • Intraday market and credit risk management
  • Basic back-office and site reliability monitoring
  • Coordination with the global Crypto trading team

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-3 years' experience at a financial institution; crypto experience is a plus but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field preferred; strong graduates will also be considered.
  • Programming experience required (Python, SQL, Java, or C++).
  • Dependable, trustworthy, highly self-motivated, and disciplined.
  • Excellent quantitative problem-solving skills and mathematical aptitude.
  • Strong communication skills, able to convey information clearly and efficiently.
