Job Title: Equipment Maintenance Specialist

Are you a skilled technician looking for a challenging role that involves the maintenance and repair of complex equipment? We are seeking an experienced Armament Technician to join our team in this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading Heavy Spare Parts and Components: You will be required to load heavy spare parts and components onto vehicles or equipment, ensuring timely delivery and minimal downtime.
  • Performing Repair and Maintenance Tasks: As an armament technician, you will perform a range of tasks including repair, overhaul, service, replace, remove, and installation tasks (technical and mechanical).
  • Lubricant Replacement and Greasing: You will be responsible for replacing lubricants, greasing, and flushing hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Wiring Replacement and Diagnostic: Your skills in wiring replacement, tracking, and diagnostic tasks for both electrical and hydraulic components will be highly valued.
  • Machinery Usage and Working at Height: You will use machinery such as overhead cranes and special technical equipment, and work at height by climbing up and down vehicles.
  • 5S/Housekeeping: Maintaining 5S/housekeeping standards is essential for a safe and efficient working environment.

Requirements:

  • Nitec in Any Engineering Field: A Nitec in any engineering field is required for this role.
  • Troubleshooting Electrical and Hydraulic Systems: The ability to troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems will be an advantage.
  • Training Provided: Training will be provided to ensure your success in the role.
