Job Title: Commercial Property Manager

Role Overview:

As a skilled and results-driven Commercial Property Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of commercial premises. Your key responsibilities will include assisting in annual budgeting and quarterly management reports to guarantee timely and accurate information.

You will collaborate closely with the property manager to uphold operational excellence across commercial premises by implementing effective controls and procedures. This will involve partnering with marketing agents for the effective leasing of commercial premises, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.

Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and statutory requirements to maintain a high level of integrity. Your duties will also include supporting lease management activities, including drafting, reviewing and issuing lease documentation to facilitate smooth operations.

Maintaining accurate and organized lease records is also crucial, ensuring proper documentation and archival to facilitate efficient reporting and payment processing. You will update and manage tenancy information in SAP and other relevant databases to support reporting, payment processing, and arrears tracking.

Furthermore, you will facilitate in property tax matters, including liaising with property tax agents for the assessment of annual values, raising objections, preparation of schedules, statements and reconciliations for all properties.

Supporting asset enhancement initiatives and facilitating capital expenditure planning and execution to drive business growth is also a key responsibility. You will evaluate and execute sustainability initiatives that align with the company's sustainability goals, promoting a positive impact on the environment.

Contribution to digitalisation and process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness, driving business success, is another key area of focus.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate or a related discipline, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in lease management, property administration or asset management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders, building effective relationships.
  • Meticulous, resourceful, independent and able to work proactively towards problem solving, driving results.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel and SAP and other property management systems would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage documentation, ensure compliance and support process improvement initiatives.
