Strategic Planning Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Strategic Planning Lead to join our team. As part of the Master Planning Office, this role will work closely with IT and business stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that align with organisational objectives.

This is a key position in driving multi-year IT work-planning across public healthcare entities. The successful candidate will lead strategic initiatives such as workforce planning, maintenance of capability frameworks, cost containment, and value capture.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide central planning guidance taking into consideration overall resource envelope and tech roadmap alignment to drive multi-year IT work-planning.
  • Develop strategic plans and recommendations, leading a wide variety of workstreams within strategic initiatives.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret complex data to drive business decisions and identify areas of improvement.
  • Engage and communicate with key stakeholders of different levels, designing and implementing facilitation plans to drive strategic change and transformation.
  • Prepare clear and concise presentation materials and reports for topics across various leadership forums.
  • Provide secretariat support for key management fora, including driving agenda planning and synchronisation with other meeting fora.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 8 years of working experience in internal IT strategy/planning or related consulting role.
  • Experience in healthcare industry will be an advantage.
  • Experience in strategic planning frameworks and methodologies, financial modeling and forecasting desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills to plan and execute.
  • Experience in leading design, implementation as well as management of IT programs and projects governance framework.
  • Possess good verbal and written communication, analytical and conflict resolution skills.
