Strategic Financial Planning Lead

The role holder will be responsible for leading a financial planning and analysis function that provides strategic support to enhance business performance.
This involves coordinating budget planning, forecasting, and review exercises across the organization. Additionally, the role entails establishing a 5-year financial plan, identifying funding needs, and allocating resources accordingly.
Key responsibilities include ensuring timely and accurate management reports are provided to key stakeholders, analyzing financial data to highlight variances, trends, and red flags, and working with procurement teams to institute cost-saving measures.
Other key responsibilities include participating in business cases, reviewing assumptions, and financial calculations for proposals, as well as assisting in the enhancement of financial systems to improve controls and functions.
- Coordinate budget planning, forecast, and review exercise
- Establish 5 years financial planning needs
- Ensure adequacy, timeliness, and accuracy of periodic Management reports
- Analyse financial data
- Work with Procurement and HODs to institute cost saving measures
- Participate in business cases
Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience in Oracle NetSuite is advantageous
- Good writing and communication skills
- Strong business acumen
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent is advantageous
This role requires a strong background in finance and a passion for delivering high-quality analysis and insights.
