Retail Leasing Specialist Role

As a retail leasing specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential tenants through strategic market research, effective networking, and proactive outreach to maximise rental income and optimise occupancy rates.

In this managerial position, you will also lead and mentor the team while overseeing the execution of leasing strategies to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Research: Identify and prospect for potential tenants through market research, networking, and outreach to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Lease Negotiation: Negotiate lease terms for new leases and renewals, finalising agreements and other leasing-related documentation to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct competitive market research and analysis to understand current trends in the real estate industry, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Degree: Diploma in Real Estate, Business, or any other relevant discipline.
  • Experience: Preferably with 3 years of experience in retail/commercial leasing, but candidates with no experience are welcome to apply.
  • Skill Set: Good negotiation and communication skills, ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, and a strong work ethic.
