Revenue & Distribution Manager - Hospitality

The Revenue & Distribution Manager is a key role in maximizing revenue and ensuring effective pricing, inventory management, and strategic analysis in line with both property and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pricing & Inventory Management:
    • Oversee pricing strategies and inventory management to ensure alignment with company standards and policies.
    • Regularly review business performance across managed properties, including analyzing rates, inventory, competitor performance, booking pace, and sales strategies to optimize revenue and RevPAR.
  • Revenue & Market Analysis:
    • Conduct regular analysis of market trends, competitive positioning, and industry changes to identify revenue opportunities.
    • Implement strategies to drive revenue generation and market share growth, contributing to overall profitability.
    • Actively manage and evaluate revenue management system decisions, ensuring optimization of revenue outcomes.
  • Direct Booking & Online Distribution:
    • Collaborate with the loyalty program team to improve the property's direct booking performance.
    • Manage and oversee the online distribution strategy for all sales channels, ensuring effective digital presence and rate competitiveness.
    • Ensure rate parity and monitor the competitiveness of pricing across all channels.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting:
    • Provide and update monthly revenue forecasts, contributing to accurate financial planning for managed properties.
    • Participate in the annual budget and rate rationalization exercises, ensuring strategic alignment with revenue targets.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Provide timely, data-driven advice to the Sales Team on sales quotations and strategies.
    • Liaise with industry partners to remain updated on market developments and competitive trends, ensuring the company remains agile and responsive to changes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Tourism, or Economic Studies.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in revenue management, pricing, or distribution within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of the hospitality markets in Singapore, Australia, China, and Indonesia.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and hotel management systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
