The Cluster Revenue Manager is responsible for optimizing the company's revenue and ensuring that its pricing and inventory management strategies are aligned with market demand, business goals, and customer expectations.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


1. Revenue Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer behaviour to set competitive rates.
  • Forecast future demand to ensure optimal pricing and inventory management.

2. Pricing and Inventory Management:

  • Monitor room rates (or product prices) and adjust according to demand, competition, and business objectives.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to ensure effective distribution of inventory and pricing.
  • Develop and maintain pricing models to improve business profitability.

3. Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze financial data, sales trends, and market performance to measure revenue performance.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on revenue metrics, such as RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room) for hospitality or similar key performance indicators (KPIs) in other industries.
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic actions to optimize revenue.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to align pricing strategies with company goals.
  • Communicate pricing adjustments, promotions, and other relevant updates to relevant departments.
  • Engage in cross-functional teamwork to improve overall business performance and customer satisfaction.

5. Demand Forecasting and Trend Analysis:

  • Use historical data and market analysis tools to forecast future demand and sales
  • Adjust pricing and inventory strategies based on shifts in demand, seasonality, and other market factors.

6. Revenue Optimization Tools and Technology:

  • Use revenue management software and tools (e.g., RMS, PMS systems) to track and analyze performance data.
  • Continuously evaluate and upgrade the technology stack to improve revenue forecasting and optimization.


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, hospitality management, economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in revenue management, pricing analysis, or related roles in the hotel industry.


SKILLS, ABILITIES & ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for reporting findings and strategies to senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with revenue management software, Microsoft Excel, and other data analysis tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically and solve complex business problems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Leadership and collaborative team skills.
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making.
