Job Description:

  • Our Cargo Officer Trainee Program is a 2-year comprehensive training and development program designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the role of a Bunker Cargo Officer.

As a Cargo Officer Trainee, you will undergo an intensive on-the-job training period under the guidance of our experienced Bunker Cargo Officers and Cargo Superintendent. You will also be sent for external training and certification in accordance with industry standards.

The working schedule will typically involve 3 days on board and 3 days shore leave, subject to training requirements and vessel schedules. During your time onboard, you will be responsible for assisting with bunker fuel operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records.

Upon satisfactory completion of the training period, you will be promoted to the position of Junior Bunker Cargo Officer, where you will be expected to perform your duties independently or with minimal supervision. Your remuneration package will include a monthly salary and allowance, with increments tied to performance and experience.

Upon completion of the 2-year program, suitable candidates will be offered the position as a full-fledged Bunker Cargo Officer, with an increased remuneration package and opportunities for further career growth and development.
