Corporate Banking Transformation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Core Banking Transformation Program. This pivotal role is responsible for shaping and delivering the bank's future-state corporate lending landscape, covering bilateral, syndicated, and structured lending as well as trade finance.

The ideal candidate will combine strong domain expertise in corporate lending with hands-on knowledge of core banking systems and program coordination experience, ensuring that business requirements are effectively translated into system solutions and delivered successfully within the transformation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the corporate lending functional stream for the transformation program, focusing on ACBS implementation.
  • Define and design target-state processes across the corporate lending lifecycle.
  • Ensure process design aligns with business objectives, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Translate corporate banking requirements into functional ACBS configurations and specifications.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current-state processes and ACBS capabilities.
  • Collaborate with vendors, IT, and integration teams to validate solutions and manage dependencies with surrounding systems.
  • Act as the functional workstream lead and coordination point across business, IT, and vendor teams.
  • Track deliverables, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support program governance through progress reporting, risk/issue management, and decision-making papers for steering committees.
  • Align with parallel streams to ensure seamless and coordinated delivery.
  • Partner with stakeholders across corporate banking, risk, compliance, operations, and finance to align requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops and forums to capture requirements and resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Serve as the trusted SME for ACBS and corporate lending transformation.
  • Define and oversee User Acceptance Testing for corporate lending functions within ACBS.
  • Support data migration planning, reconciliation, and validation for lending portfolios.
  • Lead cutover activities and ensure smooth post-go-live stabilization.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate Banking within Financial Services, with a strong focus on lending and syndicated loans.
  • Hands-on experience with FIS ACBS (configuration, functional design, implementation, or support) – mandatory.
  • 3+ years of experience in core banking/lending transformation programs, including system implementation and migration.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate lending products and familiarity with credit approval, covenant monitoring, and collateral management.
  • Proven program/project coordination experience in multi-vendor, multi-country transformation environments.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior business and technology leaders.
