Job Summary:
A Software Engineer will be contributing to the improvement of critical data ecosystems. This role involves delivering innovative solutions to complex engineering problems and participating in a dynamic team that learns, grows, and brings data closer to users. The ideal candidate should be excited about working in a team, own and deliver long-term projects to completion, and be detail-oriented with a quality mindset.

About the Role:
The Software Engineer will design and develop tools and frameworks to effectively instrument and ingest product data. They will collaborate with other engineers to provide insights and come up with innovative solutions, apply their knowledge of various technologies to meet business requirements, understand and contribute to making the product data ecosystem better, perform end-to-end development including automation testing, and build reusable components and libraries while ensuring the performance, quality, speed, and scalability of the application.

Requirements:
The successful candidate should have solid knowledge and experience with functional or object-oriented programming, proficiency in desktop application and component development, solid proficiency in C/C++, experience with at least one of the testing frameworks (GTest, Java TestNG, etc.), experience with distributed version control system (preferably git), humble, collaborative, team player, willing to step up and support colleagues, outstanding communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, highly organized, ability to write clear and reader-friendly documentation, ability to work with minimal supervision, commit to agreed business goals, familiar with non-functional testing (load, performance, and resiliency testing), good command of English (Speaking, Writing, Reading), and a degree in computer science or related field.

Bonus Points:
Experience with Java, C#, Python, virtualization software (VMware, VirtualBox, etc.), AWS cloud services, Big Data especially on Product data, good understanding of data architecture fundamentals, proficiency in writing SQL queries, and a willingness to learn more.
