Sterile Manufacturing Technician

Steer the world of sterile manufacturing by joining our team of technicians in Tuas who manufacture lifesaving cancer medications.

The position is a 2-year WDA contract at our Biotech facility based in Singapore, the regional hub for Asia Pacific and a top-ranked biopharmaceutical company on the Straits Times and Statista's list of Best Employers in Singapore for two consecutive years (2021, 2022).

  • Fundamental knowledge in operations and maintenance or relevant studies is required to excel in this role.
  • Able to work in 24x7 rotating shift patterns with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up and operating pharmaceutical production equipment including high-speed filling lines for sterile injectables, robotic technology, compounding panels and automatic CIP/SIP.
  • Dispensing, formulating and filling active biological product batches as required to meet the production schedule.
  • Performing routine QC sampling and in-process testing of the product at various stages throughout manufacturing i.e bioburden sampling, water sampling
  • Microbial sampling and swabbing of room and equipment.
  • Performing cleaning and upkeep of the Grade C & D cleanrooms and production equipment.
  • Performing filter integrity testing using an automatic filter integrity test unit.
  • Preparing equipment including loading and starting of sterilisation cycles in autoclaves.
  • Completing batch documentation as required.
  • Performing in-process sampling on semi-finished drug products.
  • Performing visual inspection, labeling and packaging on semi-finished drug products.
  • Performing all tasks in accordance with the standard operating procedures and maintaining strict compliance to GMP at all times.
