Community Engagement Officer Role
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Community Engagement Officer to work closely with seniors and volunteers to promote active lifestyles and well-being. The ideal candidate will conduct outreach, engagement, and efficient service referrals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular outreach to seniors in identified residential areas to promote activities.
  • Support activities and outings for seniors.
  • Assist in collecting data for reporting purposes and collating ground feedback.

Befriending and Buddying:
  • Review and carry out regular home visits for socially isolated seniors.
  • Manage referral systems to receive and update case status.

Care Information and Referrals:
  • Provide information and referrals to seniors and caregivers.

Volunteer Management and Community Partnerships:
  • Recruit, train, and engage volunteers.
  • Represent the organization in community partnerships.

Day-to-Day Centre Operations:
  • Handle walk-in enquiries and phone calls.
  • Maintain records of senior engagement and referrals.

Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in a relevant field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in eldercare or social services.
  • Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
