Programme Coordinator Role

This role involves assisting the Centre Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Active Ageing Centre.

  • Coordinate planning and organisation of activities for seniors living within the service area.
  • Manage the Alert Alarm System to ensure timely assistance for seniors.
  • Conduct outreach to identify and support seniors requiring befriending and buddying services.
  • Recruit and manage volunteers to aid with centre operations.
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry and report submission.
  • Maintain and upgrade facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Update Information and Referral Services records for seamless referrals.
  • Engage with identified seniors to provide companionship and support.
  • Assist seniors with daily tasks such as reading letters and addressing handphone issues.
