Freight Logistics Coordinator

A competitive opportunity has arisen for an experienced Freight Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role will provide a challenging and rewarding experience in coordinating freight logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Freight Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations including acting as the first point of contact for customers, carriers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

You will handle customer orders, including related documentation and transport booking with carriers according to specified routing and service level.

You will monitor transport execution to ensure all stakeholders adhere to established work standards and instructions.

Additionally, you will manage customer requests and supply chain incidents/disruptions, informing supervisors and relevant stakeholders in a timely manner as issues arise.

Furthermore, you will ensure tracking event updates (milestones) are provided on time and correctly by suppliers and carriers. You will follow up on missing events and investigate data inconsistencies.

Finally, you will support reporting and performance measurement, providing input to supervisors in the preparation of reports, monthly reviews, and quarterly business meetings.

You will also support analysis of standard KPIs and reports, identifying and suggesting areas for improvement.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

A minimum of one year of working experience is required. You must have strong computer skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Additionally, you should have a general understanding of Supply Chain Management concepts and logistics processes.

Other essential qualities include the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, high dependability and reliability in ensuring priorities are met effectively, good time management skills, and excellent customer service orientation.
