Sea Freight Shipping Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Sea Freight Shipping Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods by sea.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to secure bookings based on shipment schedules
  • Verify booking details and share confirmations with customers once files are created
  • Arrange cargo collection or container delivery to/from designated premises
  • Monitor vessel schedules and notify customers of any delays or schedule changes
  • Source alternative sailing schedules when needed to meet customer timelines
  • Manage the full spectrum of sea freight shipping documentation, including permits, Bills of Lading, shipping certificates, Certificates of Origin, and packing lists
