Senior Software Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions. As a member of our team, you will work with seasoned professionals who adhere to the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Your primary responsibility will be to analyze customer and project requirements and develop new solution features according to a defined roadmap in a timely manner. You will be part of project teams that typically consist of 5-20 members from various locations, collaborating on functional and technical solution requirements and contributing to writing specifications for solution components.

You will be responsible for developing new solution features according to a defined roadmap in a timely manner, meeting our highest quality and performance standards. Additionally, you will maintain applications, perform code and application upgrades, and have exposure to various aspects of software engineering.

In this role, you will have opportunities to learn and expand your horizons into areas such as consulting, system security, and agile software development. We value individual growth and encourage continuous education and training.

Required Skills and Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent is required. A minimum of three years of hands-on Java experience is also necessary.

  • Proficiency in Java/Java EE, Spring: Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring Integration, API development, design patterns, SOLID principles, agile software development, TDD, CI/CD, DevOps automation, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multi-tier enterprise architecture are all essential skills for this position.
  • A strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills is also required.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, RedHat Openshift, microservices, and JS front-end frameworks (Angular/ React.JS) is a plus.
