Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef to oversee the preparation of authentic North Indian dishes and ensure exceptional food quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Wash, cut, and marinate ingredients according to traditional North Indian recipes.
- Mise en Place: Prepare sauces, soups, rice, and mise en place for efficient cooking.
- Cooking: Cook curries, soups, snacks, starters, biryanis, and rice dishes using authentic North Indian techniques.
- Quality Control: Ensure food presentation meets high culinary standards before serving.
- Order Fulfillment: Prioritize prompt delivery of orders to maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Maintain adequate stocks of raw ingredients to prevent stockouts.
- Storage and Cleaning: Receive, store, and stack goods and supplies efficiently, ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: 10+2 JC levels or equivalent, preferably with Culinary skills training.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years' experience working in reputable North Indian kitchens.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to handle the demands of a busy kitchen environment.
- Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and understand simple English is essential.
