Culinary Specialist - North Indian Cuisine

We are seeking an experienced and passionate culinary specialist to join our team in the preparation of authentic North Indian dishes.

  • Prepare a variety of soups, appetizers, curries, and Indian Chinese cuisine using natural spices and healthy ingredients.
  • Operate tandoor equipment and prepare traditional tandoor specialties.
  • Develop and introduce new menu items as 'specials of the day'.
  • Review and revise existing menu items to enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of groceries, vegetables, and meat.
  • Implement effective planning to minimize food wastage.
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of authentic North Indian recipes and cooking techniques.
  • Proven experience in preparing Indian soups, appetizers, curries, and Indian Chinese dishes.
  • Tandoor cooking experience is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Experience with HACCP protocols.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
