Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in preparing traditional North Indian dishes, including soups, appetizers, curries, and Indian Chinese cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality, authentic North Indian dishes using natural spices and healthy ingredients
  • Develop and introduce new menu items as specials of the week, while maintaining a deep understanding of traditional cooking techniques and flavors
  • Implement effective inventory management and ordering systems to minimize food wastage
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with relevant regulations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a North Indian Chef
  • Comprehensive knowledge of authentic North Indian recipes and cooking techniques
  • Proven experience in preparing Indian soups, appetizers, curries, and Indian Chinese dishes
  • Tandoor cooking experience is preferred

Skills & Competencies:

  • Fluency in English and Hindi (spoken and written)
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
