North Indian Cook Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled cook to manage our F&B operations with expertise in North Indian cuisine.

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced chef to lead the preparation of authentic North Indian dishes and ensure exceptional culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Wash, cut, and marinate vegetables, poultry, meat, and seafood according to North Indian recipes.
  • Mise en Place: Prepare marinades, gravies, soups, rice, and mise en place for efficient cooking.
  • Cooking: Cook gravies, curries, soups, snacks, starters, biryanis, and rice dishes using traditional North Indian techniques.
  • Assistance: Collaborate with chefs and cooks in other kitchen sections as needed.
  • Quality Control: Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet high culinary standards before serving.
  • Order Fulfillment: Prioritize prompt and speedy delivery of orders to maintain excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain adequate stocks of raw ingredients to prevent stockouts.
  • Storage and Cleaning: Receive, store, and stack goods and supplies efficiently, ensuring cleanliness of the kitchen and cookware at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: 10+2 JC levels or equivalent, preferably with ITE Poly (Culinary skills).
  • Experience: Minimum 6 years' experience working in reputable North Indian kitchens.
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to handle the demands of a busy kitchen environment.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and understand simple English is essential.
  • Availability: Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays is required.
