Your key responsibilities will include:


Providing senior front office lending expertise for Butterfield Bank, CI, as both an internal and external credit advisor.

Evaluating mortgage applications, suggesting improvements and discussing complex structural situations.

Supporting Lending Offers in the approval and conclusion of facilities they underwrite.

Undertaking more complex credit facility assessments.

Collaborating with Credit Risk and Credit Ops to ensure credit facilities align with our defined risk strategy, promoting a culture of risk awareness throughout new product design, case submissions, and portfolio reviews.

Making recommendations for process improvement.

Contributing to and presenting at CI & UK Credit Committee meetings.

Required skills and qualifications include:
Credit analysis skills.
Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and reliably.
CeMAP qualification or willingness to pursue certification.
