The APAC Business, Regulatory and Supervisory Management (BRSM) team serves as a crucial ally and representative for Global Markets across the region. We are dedicated to supporting the Regional CEO, COO, and Desk Heads in executing business strategies and fulfilling supervisory responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and prioritize strategic initiatives for Global Markets from a regional standpoint, collaborating with Global Business Managers and stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
  • Ensure seamless daily operations within the region.
  • Provide insightful analysis and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to inform competitive strategies.
  • Oversee operational risk management related to Front Office activities, partnering with Governance and Control for necessary remediation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in collaboration with regional Legal and Compliance teams.
  • Assist the Regional CEO and Desk Heads in fulfilling their supervisory roles and contribute to the overall framework.
  • Collaborate with support functions to evaluate the regulatory implications of business initiatives.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in Capital Markets, with a minimum of 2 years in direct interaction with Front Office operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of capital markets and trading systems.
  • Familiarity with Head Office governance and support teams in major financial hubs is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities, with attention to detail and initiative for timely resolutions.
  • Ability to distill complex issues and present solutions to senior management.
  • A proactive self-starter who can make independent decisions while collaborating effectively.
  • Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adept at managing competing priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
