This role encompasses a broad range of engineering tasks spanning the product life cycle from design to production to maintenance and obsolescence management.

The position involves performing design engineering activities, including structure design and calculations, installation and integration of equipment, safety engineering, prototyping, and production/manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities also include converting developmental design or prototypes into production designs, designing production processes and work instructions, developing production bills of material, and maintenance engineering.

Maintenance engineering includes developing product maintenance requirements and work processes, obsolescence management, preservation engineering, failure analysis and diagnostics, new product concepts and proposals, and leading or participating in tenders as assigned.

Key skills and qualifications include a bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or an automotive-related field, 3+ years of experience in automotive or related industries, proficiency in design/drafting software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, strong project management and organizational skills, excellent communication and customer needs translation abilities, analytical mindset with experience improving engineering processes, and ability to work independently and cross-functionally while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
