Electrical Maintenance Engineer Position
">The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of electrical systems on board various vessels. This will involve supervising and performing fault diagnosis, trouble shooting and maintenance tasks in workshops and onboard vessels.
">Liaising with various departments within the company and clients to expedite the scope of work is also a key aspect of this role. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be able to effectively coordinate with vendors and partners.
">The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will lead a team of electricians in corrective and preventive maintenance tasks. They will also prepare work completion reports for customers' acceptance and ensure that all maintenance works are carried out in accordance with vessel safety requirements.
">A thorough understanding of electrical connections and programmable logic controllers (PLC) programs is essential for this position. Experience with troubleshooting on various brands of PLCs, such as Panasonic, Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi, ABB, etc., is highly advantageous.
">Possessing man management experience in leading up to 6 men, including supervisors and technicians, is also desirable. The ideal candidate will be willing to work as a team player to achieve assigned tasks within given timelines.
">This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including transport provided at or nearby several MRT stations. The working hours are from 7:45am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
">This role requires a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Marine related or Oil & Gas industry. Candidates with no experience may apply, but prior knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance procedures is highly beneficial.
">The location of this position is in Changi, Singapore, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable working onboard vessels and at heights.
