Regional Trade Development Director

Job Description:

The Regional Trade Development Director is responsible for driving business growth and profitability in the North Asia & Oceania Regions. This senior leadership role requires strategic thinking, market analysis, and decisive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee market changes that influence the company's business operations and provide strategic advice to management.
  • Responsible for profit and loss for the North Asia & Oceania Regions.
  • Lead significant development of the business and profitability while maintaining long-term relationships with customers.
  • Manage customer relationships to ensure the company maintains a share of the business.
  • Make sharp and decisive decisions to approach the market and ensure company profitability.
  • Communicate actively with internal colleagues to ensure smooth sales closure.
  • Assess, manage, and resolve problematic developments & situations.
  • Provide strategic leadership to the team to achieve goals & objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive business plans to grow the business and improve cost efficiency.
  • Identify, develop, and retain key employees.
  • Delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations.
  • Communicate division and corporate vision effectively to build a supportive culture.
  • Evaluate staff performance based on established KPIs and address and resolve staff performance issues effectively.
