Deputy Director, Trade Strategy

**What the role is**
- The Trade Strategy and Security Division in MTI coordinates Singapore’s trade engagement strategy and response to changes in the geo-economic environment. It also serves as the counterparty to other Government agencies and key committees, covering the range of geo-political and security spheres.
**What you will be working on**
- As a Deputy Director in the Trade Strategy & Security Division in MTI, you will lead a dynamic team responsible for monitoring and analysing developments, as well as developing policies and strategies, to safeguard and advance Singapore’s economic-security interests in the international arena.
**What we are looking for**
- Relevant field of study in Law, International Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, Economics, or related discipline - Keen interest in the geo-political environment - Experience in policy research, review and formulation will be an advantage - Excellent analytical, writing, communication and presentation skills - Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve a common goal within tight timelines - Ability to build effective relationships with various stakeholders
