BIM Leadership and Oversight

Our ideal candidate will assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing BIM standards across the organization. This involves creating and maintaining project template files to ensure consistency.

The successful candidate will provide support for electronic file submission and Singapore BIM authoring submission. Quality control of completeness and adherence to company standards of all drawings produced is also a key responsibility.

Su Supervise, develop, and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards. Additionally, train and oversee Revit specialist(s) to maintain BIM standards in Architectural BIM model creation.

Maintain high level of competency of software through continuous use and training. Provide office-wide and project-based BIM orientation for new staff.

BIM Training

The candidate will assist in overseeing and managing office-wide BIM capabilities and staff BIM training programme. Conduct just-in-time on-the-job training for project specific needs.

Provide office-wide and project-based BIM orientation for new staff. Assist in preparing BIM Execution Plan (BEP) for the projects and ensure on-going compliance and continual improvement.

Manage processes, implementation, best practices, and techniques of BIM. Monitor progress of BIM implementation to ensure it meets project requirements and schedule.

Ensure BIM deliverables satisfy the BIM delivery requirements of the project at all project stages.

Oversee and specify BIM for FM requirements for projects where applicable. Review/verify contractor(s) compliance with BIM for FM specifications.

Communicate with client(s), consultant(s), and contractor(s) to ensure effective implementation of BIM processes, documentation, and BIM model deliverables.

Chair BIM coordination meeting(s) to overview design coordination issues and generate clash detection reports at all project stages.

Overview and review all relevant BIM authoring requirements and ensure compliant implementation.

Hold/attend all project related BIM meetings and conferences.

Undertake other office-wide and project-related duties and ad-hoc tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 12 years of relevant experience
  • Diploma in Architecture or equivalent from an accredited institution, with relevant experience in a similar role
  • Specialist Diploma in Building Information Modelling (BIM) Management or equivalent from an accredited institution, with relevant experience in a similar role

Key Skills:

  • Well-versed with 2D and 3D design software and technologies, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft suite
  • Familiarity with scripting and computational tools (e.g. Dynamo, Python)
  • Acut knowledge and application of planning and building codes and regulations, regulatory submissions, and processes
