Mechanical Engineer

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading mechanical design tasks and supporting day-to-day project execution.

  • Independently handle mechanical design and lead assigned project sections.
  • Support Section Lead in daily project activities and progress tracking.
  • Ensure mechanical tasks meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Advise on design approach, technical standards, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Guide and collaborate with junior engineers and draftsmen.
  • Troubleshoot design issues and provide engineering solutions.
  • Attend meetings, track deliverables, and maintain project discipline.
  • Develop and review mechanical calculations, drawings, and 3D models.
  • Coordinate with shipyards, consultants, and vendors.
  • Support a variety of projects: newbuilding, repairs, upgrades, and conversions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in marine mechanical/piping design; 2+ years in a senior role.
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, AVEVA, and MS Office.
  • Knowledgeable in class rules and HVAC/piping systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
