Mechanical Design Engineer
Join a dynamic team as a Mechanical Design Engineer and take on the challenge of leading mechanical design tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in marine mechanical/piping design.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for handling mechanical design independently, leading assigned project sections, and ensuring that all tasks meet quality standards and deadlines. They will also advise on design approach, technical standards, and ensure regulatory compliance. Additionally, they will guide and collaborate with junior engineers and draftsmen, troubleshoot design issues, and provide engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead mechanical design tasks (2D/3D) and support day-to-day project execution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure marine project success.
  • Develop and review mechanical calculations, drawings, and 3D models for marine piping/machinery systems.
  • Troubleshoot design issues and provide engineering solutions.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years in marine mechanical/piping design; 2+ years in a senior role.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable in class rules and HVAC/piping systems.
