About the Role
We're seeking a mechanical design engineer to join our team of experts. As part of this position, you will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical designs, specifications, and calculations for various equipment. Your work will involve collaborating with procurement teams and vendors to select the right equipment for projects. Additionally, you'll participate in technical reviews, design verification, and factory acceptance testing (FAT) to ensure that all designs meet international standards such as API, ASME, and ISO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed mechanical designs, specifications, and calculations for equipment.
- Collaborate with procurement teams and vendors to select equipment for projects.
- Participate in technical reviews, design verification, and FAT to ensure compliance with international standards.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years' experience in offshore/marine mechanical design.
- Proficiency in engineering design software and tools.
- Prior experience working with EPC companies is highly desirable.
