Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the financial and contractual provisions of our building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the financial and contractual provisions of all projects from pre-tender to post-contract phases, including quantities, variations, cost estimates, monthly claims, and final accounts.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to prepare monthly updated project costing.
  • Develop suitable subcontract conditions for specific project requirements.
  • Prepare project budgeting and costing reports.
  • Responsible for cost estimating, quantity take-off, claims preparation, variations, and final accounts.
  • Review contracts, prepare tender and contract documentations, tender analysis and reporting, measurement, etc.
  • Review sub-contractors' claims and materials on site.
  • Standardize all agreements (e.g. subcontracts and joint ventures) with alignment to contract policy.
Requirements
  • Degree in Building/Construction Management/Quantity Surveying or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of contracts law and its application.
  • Preferably well-versed in various forms of contracts such as PSSCOC, SIA, and FIDIC, as well as other international forms of contracts.
  • Preferably conversant in using CostX and/or Glodon Cubicost measurement software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Only Singaporean.
