Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a representative for optimal quality perception among visitors and customers by accurately executing goods flow processes, with a focus on customer-perceived availability.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of the Supply Quality Detect-Correct-Report methodology across all logistics operations, maintaining a zero-tolerance policy towards non-compliant goods reaching customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, supply chain partners, and external service providers on matters related to quality, safety, and health.
  • Champion the highest quality perception for visitors and customers through precise execution of goods flow processes, emphasizing customer-perceived availability.
  • Conduct inspections of warehouse racking, handling equipment, and unit loads in accordance with local regulations and IKEA standards. Evaluate goods flow processes in terms of health, safety, and quality, and communicate findings to the Logistics Manager.
  • Gather, review, and analyze data to ensure the utmost quality of incoming goods.
  • Develop a skilled goods flow team capable of confidently executing responsibilities related to health, safety, and quality through mandatory training and onboarding for new team members.
  • Identify and nurture talent within the goods flow team in the areas of quality, safety, and compliance.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of Safety, Quality, and Sustainability principles.
  • A genuine passion for logistics and the ability to thrive in a dynamic retail environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving results while effectively communicating and developing team members.
  • Flexibility to work according to business needs, including rotating day and night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
